Creating an account

You need an account for exactly two things: buying Pro, and syncing your board between devices. The board itself, all four item types, both free views, import and export — none of that asks who you are.

Click the crown in the header. Signed out, the dialog is titled Sign In to Upgrade.
Switch to the Sign Up tab. Name is optional; Email and Password are not. The password must be at least 8 characters.
Click Create Account. You are signed in immediately — there is no confirmation email to wait for.

The same dialog is where you buy: Subscribe Monthly, Subscribe Yearly (marked Save 33%) or Buy Lifetime. Checkout happens on Stripe in a new tab. If you finish paying and the extension still shows Free, come back to the crown and press Check Payment Status.

Once you have a licence, the crown dialog becomes Pro License and shows your plan, status and validity, with Manage Billing for the Stripe portal and Dashboard for the web dashboard.

Signing in does not upload anything

This surprises people, so it is worth stating flatly: signing in does not copy your board to the server. Sync is manual in both directions — you press Upload or Download yourself, under the gear → Cloud Sync. Until you press Upload, the server has no copy of your board.

Three extension sign-ins

A licence covers three browsers running the extension. Signing in from a fourth does not fail — it signs out the oldest of the three instead, and that browser drops back to Free until it signs in again.

Signing in to the web dashboard does not use a seat. Only the extension counts. You can see both lists, and end any session you do not recognise, on the dashboard’s Devices & sessions page.
