The last button in a column’s toolbar — an empty square, tooltip Enter selection mode — switches the whole board into selection mode. Every card grows a checkbox and dragging is disabled while it lasts.

  • Click a card to select or deselect it.
  • Shift-click to take everything between it and the last card you clicked. The range follows what you see: cards inside folders first, then the column’s loose cards.
  • The square at the top of a column selects, or deselects, all of that column’s cards. It fills in when they are all selected, and the count appears beside it.
  • Ctrl/ + A selects every card on the board.

Selections survive across columns, so you can gather cards from three columns before acting on them.

Once something is selected, a bar appears at the bottom of the screen.

The board in selection mode: three cards ticked in one column, and the floating bar reading 3 selected, Move, Tag, Archive, Delete

Button What it does
Move Pick a column; everything selected goes there
Tag Pick a tag; it is added to everything selected. Only shown if you have tags
Archive Everything selected goes to the archive
Delete Everything selected is destroyed
Leave selection mode

Esc also leaves selection mode.

Move lists every column, including the one the cards are already in. Moving cards to the column they are already in does nothing, and TabOasis says so rather than claiming a successful move.
