Settings
The gear icon in the board header opens Settings & Analytics, with a Settings tab and an Analytics tab. Settings has eleven sections down the left. In the narrower popup and side panel, the same eleven become a drill-down list that opens on Preferences.

Appearance

Default for the font means your system’s own interface font rather than a web font.
Light and dark are not here. They are the sun/moon button in the header, with Light, Dark and System, and they are independent of the color theme: every theme works in both.
Preferences
Section titled “Preferences”Seven switches, in this order:

Below them, Enabled View Modes: a switch each for Kanban, Widgets, Calendar and Focus. All four are on by default. You cannot switch off your last remaining view, and you cannot switch on one your plan has locked. On Free, Calendar and Focus carry a Pro badge. Turning a view off also takes it out of the Shift + V cycle.
Notifications
Section titled “Notifications”Enable notifications is the master switch, on by default. Under it are seven categories, all on by default:

These control the small toasts in the corner. Task reminders also controls the operating-system notification a due task raises, which is the one that reaches you with no TabOasis tab open.
Pomodoro Timer

Focus view has its own panel for the same values; a change in either place shows up in both. It exposes three more that this panel does not (auto-start break, auto-start focus, and a weekly focus goal), and its lowest sessions before long break is 2 rather than 1. See Pomodoro.
What is not in Settings
Section titled “What is not in Settings”A few things people look for here and will not find:
- Which view you are in. That is the view switcher in the header, or Shift + V.
- Whether the navigation tree is open. The switch here only controls whether the button exists; open and close the tree with the button itself.
- Anything per-profile. Every setting in Settings is one shared set across every profile you have.
- A password change or reset. There is no such control in the extension; both live on the web dashboard. See Troubleshooting.
The settings that describe your board (view mode, color theme, font and Pomodoro) are carried by Server Sync, so a Download brings the other device’s preferences for those with it. Language, Spotlight search on web pages and the notification toggles describe the device and stay on it. An Export JSON carries only your Pomodoro values, not the rest of these settings.
